Baseline Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Authorized to work in the United State without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company

eXplore Marketing Intern
As a marketing intern working on our eXplore project, you will have the opportunity to impact marketing materials that are directly customer facing. This project will contain components that are both virtual, and physical / in person.
For the virtual project work, you will be editing videos and scripts - ensuring videos are both high quality, and consistent with Siemens branding standards, and that the marketing message is consistent with our solutions and core strategies.
For the physical or in person aspects of the project, you will be expected to work onsite at a Siemens customer experience center, such as LIFT, based in downtown Detroit. You will attend and support in-person tour of this center, showcasing Siemens technology solutions to customers and partners.
You will also prepare demonstration areas, including conference rooms, assembly lines, virtual and real demo hubs, etc.
Finally, you will also develop Digital Threads showcasing our solutions to our customers, including writing marketing stories that include key value statements.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student studying Business, preferably Marketing
- Comfortable with frequent meetings on the phone
- Strong analytical skills, able to identify and communicate solutions and recommendations
- Good communication skills and ability to provide status updates on a regular basis
- Able to work with a global audience and customer base
- Flexible, adaptable and proactive
- Technically proficient in Microsoft required
- Experience authoring marketing copy
- Experience working with Adobe illustration tools and/or video editing is a plus
- Entrepreneurial approach and spirit
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
