Sr. Manager, Inorganic Development

Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a growth-mindedindividual to join our team to propel our business development. In this role,you will partner closely with both our larger strategy team and businesssegments, playing a pivotal role in shaping our company's acquisition-focusedgrowth trajectory by (i) linking external technology advances with strategicobjectives and (ii) building out a cohesive framework to accelerate developmentof pipeline opportunities (iii) craft a vision and strategy around horizontaltechnology and adjacent markets.

Inthis role, you will drive multiple development frameworks, collaborate withinternal stakeholders to align on direction, and execute key initiatives topropel our inorganic growth efforts forward.

EssentialObjectives:

1.Strategic Planning: Develop and refine inorganic development strategy inalignment with the company's overarching goals and objectives. Evaluate markettrends, the competitive landscape, and growth opportunities to inform strategicdecision-making.

2.Segment Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and businesssegments to identify inorganic growth opportunities that complement and enhanceour capabilities. Collaborate effectively to ensure cohesive direction andalignment across the organization.

3.Search Field Development: Lead the identification and evaluation of criteriathat produce potential acquisition targets, strategic partners, and investmentopportunities. Build robust search fields and conduct thorough due diligence toassess fit, feasibility, and potential value creation.

4.Horizontal Plays and Adjacent Markets: Formulate and execute strategies forleveraging horizontal technologies and expanding reach within adjacent markets,focusing on how elements within a software ecosystem interplay. Identifysynergistic growth opportunities and develop comprehensive plans to capitalizeon these opportunities through acquisition strategy.

  • Develop a deepunderstanding of industry verticals, focusing on identifying and capitalizingon strategic growth opportunities.
  • Partner withcross-functional teams to understand their growth objectives and tailorinorganic strategies accordingly.
  • Thinkstrategically and creatively to identify potential targets and craft compellinginorganic growth plans to deliver maximum organizational value.
  • Stay apprised andapply the latest trends in inorganic growth strategies and best practicesacross different industries.

WhatAbilities You Bring:

  • Experience in corporate development, strategy consulting, or a relatedfield focusing on inorganic growth.
  • A strategic mind with exceptional research and problem-solving skills.You excel at identifying and dissecting complex business challenges.
  • A knack for storytelling, crafting persuasive narratives that showcasethe strategic value of each inorganic area of focus.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with theability to present complex strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Experience developingand executing horizontal technology strategies, particularly in data-driven andanalytics search fields.
  • Comprehensiveunderstanding of SW landscapes and how they relate to PLM and EDA businessprocesses and technologies, including within adjacent markets
  • Exceptionalleadership and project management skills, with the ability to leadcross-functional teams and drive initiatives from concept to execution.

Educationand Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor'sdegree in business, finance, or technical field; an MBA or advanced degree ispreferred.
  • Specializedvertical and sector expertise with a lens on industrial software applications;pharmaceutical and/or data preferred
  • Provenexperience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or related fields,with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Stronganalytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to evaluate complexbusiness opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A track recordof successfully identifying, evaluating, and building growth strategies.
  • Ability tothrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritieseffectively.

SiemensSoftware. Transform the Everyday

The salaryrange for this position is $140,100 to $252,200 and this role is eligible toearn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
