Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Has comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and practices in broad areas of the customers' industry. Acts as technical lead of projects that span multiple products. Recognized by customers as a leader in a variety of areas. Sets the technical direction for more than one area of a product. Sought out by others to solve their most complex of technical problems. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Works without supervision on the most complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment. Has technical expertise. Expert knowledge of the field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Provide strong technical leadership and strategic direction to the Siemens Tessent Design for Test (DFT), driving innovation in high quality test, stress test, functional test, test throughout the entire silicon lifecycle and guiding the development of cutting-edge DFT solutions. Reporting to VP of Engineering, Tessent.

Technical Expertise: Possess a strong knowledge of DFT, integrated circuits (IC) design flow, and IC lifecycle including manufacturing test and in-system in-field operation. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, including AI/ML, and best practices to ensure our DFT remain at the forefront of the industry.

Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate closely with other Tessent Research and Development (R&D) teams, product management, other Siemens division, and business teams to understand DFT requirements, gather feedback and translate business objectives into technical strategies. Collaborate with partner customers on development of new test technologies.

Skills

  • Typically requires a minimum 10 years and a master's degree, or a PhD with 7 years of experience
  • Deep knowledge of DFT, including DFT insertion, Low Defect-per Million (DPM), content generation, high-volume manufacturing, including DFT in the entire silicon lifecycle
  • Excellent strategy planning, execution, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical presence in leading forums of the professional test community.

The salary range for this position is $171,900 to$309,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
