The primary and majority function of this job is to manage ateam. Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, appraises,pay, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary,etc.). Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products(both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, onachieving high quality and on-time delivery. Responsible for ensuring theoverall functional quality of the released product on all required platformsand mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems.Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significantre-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementationof wide-reaching impacts. Acts as Technical lead of projects that span multipleareas of a product. Broad and direct consulting with customers in regard tofuture upgrades and products. Sets the technical direction for one area of aproduct. Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce newtechnology/knowledge into multiple areas of a product and to our people. Ableto solve the most complex of technical problems. Technical Lead in guidingjunior engineers. Works without supervision on the most complex projects withcomplete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise. Advancedknowledge of the field. Assist with less experienced peers.
