About the role / Segment
The electronics industry is evolving at an ever-accelerating pace. At Siemens EDA, we are dedicated to empowering customers to bring life-changing innovations to market faster and achieve leadership in their industries. We achieve this by providing the most comprehensive portfolio of electronic design automation (EDA) software, hardware, and services worldwide.
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to work in the Hardware-Assisted Verification Division. You will be part of a high-performing FPGA-based prototyping R&D team, responsible for designing, developing, and debugging software programs for the Veloce proFPGA prototyping platform.

Your qualifications
- A Bachelor/Master's Degree in a Computer Science or Electronics Engineering
- Proficiency in digital design using HDL (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
- Proficiency with FPGA design, FPGA tools (Vivado, Quartus) and STA
- Debug of RTL designs and simulation, strong debugging skills
- Experience in C++, object-oriented software development
- Experience with Linux and script languages (TCL, Bash, Python)
- Experience with multi-team, collaborative software development (Git, Perforce, SVN etc.)
- Fluent English speaker
Specific technical responsibilities include:
- Development of FPGA and design of digital HDL modules
- Design with timing constraints, capacity and performance goals
- Validation and testing using simulation and proFPGA platforms
- Software development for low level validation of the components
- Integration of the components in coordination with the software team
