What You'll Do:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for advancing and maintaining our HDL simulation tools. Your key duties include:

  • Developing and Maintaining Software: Work on sophisticated software applications, implement new features, and resolve bugs while ensuring the stability of existing functionality.
  • Ensuring Quality: Adhere to software development processes, deliver high-quality code, and provide basic coverage for implemented features. Execute test suites and investigate any failures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local and international developers to understand and manage task interdependencies and discuss implementation details.
  • Project Management: Participate in planning and tracking activities, including task investigations, work breakdown, and schedule estimation, while keeping the project lead informed about progress and potential risks.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and object-oriented programming, with hands-on experience in development on UNIX/Linux platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in algorithms and data structures.
  • Advanced knowledge in software design and architecture, required for senior-level roles.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
  • Skill in code optimization for improved performance and memory efficiency.
  • Experience with HDL languages like VHDL and Verilog is an advantage.
  • A strong aptitude for learning, exploring, and innovating with complex technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and effectively share knowledge.
