Siemens EDA is looking to hire a highly motivated engineer with a semiconductor and electronics engineering background.
This job position is with the Product Specialist team in the CICV R&D group at Siemens EDA. We are looking for a senior engineer to be the technical interface to design engineers and managers on our key customer engagements. This is a hands-on technical role, and the applicant must have experience in design & verification of custom analog and mixed signal circuits like SerDes, DDR, HSIO, std cell, memories, ADC, DAC, PLL, Osc, etc.

In this role you will...
- Drive high ROI technical engagements and initiatives with our top tier customers.
- Interface with the field team and the customer to understand technical requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to develop methodologies and solutions.
- Create technical presentations and documents to highlight product value proposition.
- Directly engage with the customer to deploy tools and solutions.
- Debug technical issues that block engagement and deployment.
- File bug reports/enhancements and work closely with R&D to resolve them.
- Focus on technical and customer success to help drive business growth.
Required skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Masters in electrical, Electronics, or Computer engineering with 20+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the SPICE, FastSPICE and mixed-signal simulation tools and verification methodologies.
- Experience using SPICE netlists and control languages including HSPICE, Spectre.
- Knowledge of Siemens EDA tools like AFS, Symphony, Solido Design Environment, Solido Characterization would be a plus.
- Experience using Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience in design and characterizing SerDes, DDR, HSIO, std cell, memories, ADC, DAC, PLL, Osc, etc. is preferred.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
- Works with minimal supervision on customer engagements and technical issues with latitude for independent judgment and discretion.
- Flexible to work with remote teams located in several geographies and travel to customer sites.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
