As a Scrum Master, you will play a vital role in driving the transformation and ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient delivery across teams. You will need to navigate through organizational challenges and foster an environment of continuous improvement and agility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and mentor 2 to 3 Scrum teams in their Agile journey, promoting self-management and high-performance.
- Foster removing impediments and ensure the teams have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality products.
- Facilitate Scrum events and provide guidance and coaching to the team on how they can effectively conduct these events.
- Collaborate with engineering management to ensure that projects are on track and potential issues/risks are communicated and addressed.
- Assist Product Owners in identifying and implementing effective techniques for refining the product backlog, prioritizing work, and aligning on product vision and goals.
- Guide teams in adopting and applying Agile principles and practices effectively.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement within the teams and the organization.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Possess a strong understanding of the software delivery cycle.
- Proven track record to drive organizational change and transformation.
- Facilitation and coaching skills to support teams in achieving their goals.
- Experience in working with distributed teams and online facilitation.
- Ability to identify and address impediments that hinder team productivity and delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate optimally with various partners.
- Experience in product discovery and working closely with Product Owners.
- Familiarity with scaling Agile practices and frameworks is a plus.
- Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
