Job Summary:

The Quality Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring product and process excellence by identifying key quality metrics, creating and delivering reports, and driving continuous improvement. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams-including R&D, DevOps, field teams, and contract manufacturers-to analyze data, identify trends, and implement quality improvements. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Metrics Development & Reporting

  • Identify, define, and track key quality performance indicators across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to provide real-time visibility into quality performance.
  • Analyze trends and deviations, providing actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, DevOps, field teams, and contract manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on quality performance.
  • Facilitate discussions and problem-solving efforts across teams to drive quality improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal standards, and best practices.
  • Support audits and quality reviews by providing documentation, reports, and analysis as needed.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Monitor and assess risks related to product and process quality, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues.
  • Work closely with teams to implement and validate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experienced in creating and delivering reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proven experience working with cross-collaborative teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, data visualization, VLOOKUP and macros).

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Proficient in analyzing key quality metrics, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce applications.
  • Background in quality assurance, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge in quality tools and methodologies such as ISO 9001, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, SPC, and Lean principles.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $87,600 to $157,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
