Be an integral part of a team that is developing comprehensive verification IPs for interfaces such as PCIe Gen 6/Gen6, USB4.0, 400Gigabit Ethernet, DDR5, LPDDR5 and leading coherency protocols like CXL.
Become knowledgeable in both the protocol being modelled and the architecture of the
Verification IPs, including the customer developed Verification IPs as well as commercial
Verification IPs: PCI-Express, CXL.
• Support customers in initial training and integration of Verification IPs
• Support the key customer in applying custom-developed verification IP and commercial
Verification IPs (PCIe/CXL/SFI) optimally and efficiently.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams, handling and understanding
customer requirements, as well as customer reported issues.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to provide technical expertise and guidance to the customer.
• Drive projects forward, ensuring accurate completion while meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to find opportunities for further product adoption and customer
satisfaction.
• Continuously supervise and analyze open bug reports and customer feedback. Connect to
R&D/support engineers, and provide recommendations for product improvement and
enhancements, as well as process improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to verification IP and customer
requirements.
• Help prioritize support work, such as enhancement requests and bug reports, while ensuring the
R&D and support teams are not overloaded.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
• Proven good knowledge of PCIe, CXL protocols
• Work experience in a Design Verification role
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM
• Strong understanding of SystemVerilog, verification IP concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong understanding of simulation tools like VCS, Xcellium. Compilation, elaboration and
simulation flows.
• Strong understanding of standard protocols like PCI-Express, CXL, or similar protocols like USB,
Ethernet.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
• Ability to effectively handle customer relationships and understand their needs.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, while
ensuring R&D's time is properly balanced.
• Collaborative attitude, capable of working closely with multi-functional teams.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a diligent approach.
This role is based in Taipei but you'll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.
