About the Role

As a Presales Solution Consultant, you will be primarily focus on Requirement & Collaboration solutions, such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), you will engage with customers and prospects, Sales Orchestrators, and the extended Sales team. You shall understand the customers business, process, and technical issues and by applying engineering and requirement processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, support product and solution positioning. You will l prepare and deliver demonstrations of the technical capabilities, benefits, and value of the proposed solutions to customers using configured and standard material. You will be a trusted advisor on our customer's business issues, and how Siemens can improve their business. Referring to others for information where necessary, select appropriate suites of technology, and develop proposals for customer process improvements which ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of the overall solution within the context of the customer's business.

Area of Responsibility

  • Being a trusted advisor to the customer and the Sales team - providing expertise, consensus, and guidance throughout the sales process
  • Building trust, respect and effective relationships with the customer and Sales team - to understand and alleviate problems, manage expectations, and enable understanding of the proposed solutions benefits and value.
  • Using existing and create new demonstration material that shows the value Siemens delivers, ensuring that this resolves customers issues and provides compelling solutions.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, to demonstrate technology and business solutions across a multi-disciplined range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, such as users, managers, Directors, and all customer employees.
  • Providing best practise utilising Siemens technology and solutions. Document this in the prescribed location and share and deliver to the rest of the Siemens community.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineering and Product Management industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Industrial Machinery & Heavy Equipment, CP&R, Medical Devices, Marine
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technology and solutions into simple, clear, and concise business strategies and solutions
  • Experienced within PLM or ALM solution design
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter, PLM and Polarion,ALM solutions
  • Working with multi-functional teams from services, product development and Sales
  • Experience preparing and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations
