License Compliance Sales Specialist (Thailand)

The License Compliance Specialist is responsible for driving and managing software license compliance reviews of customers in Thailand. This role involves planning, identifying software gaps, converting non-compliant customers to compliant through proper licensing, and negotiating with customers to address compliance issues.

Additionally, the role focuses on generating license compliance revenue and maximizing license revenue delivery to support the country software sales objectives, ensuring zero post-settlement issues.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of license compliance reviews for customers, from planning to settlement.

• Identify software usage gaps and ensure non-compliant customers achieve compliance through appropriate licensing.

• Actively communicate and negotiate with customers to resolve license compliance issues.

• Address customer inquiries regarding the Software License Review program and provide detailed information about the software.

• Follow up with partners and customers to track and develop progress.

• Submit regular reports to the License Compliance Manager on project progress and any arising issues.

• Verify new leads and handle all internal administration before engaging with partners/customers.

• Maintain records of conversations with potential customers in Salesforce and the Compliance tool.

• Utilize Salesforce for end-to-end pipeline management, building strong working relationships with various sales teams and partners.

• Schedule and conduct on-site visits to potential customers, targeting 20-30 visits per month.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Intellectual Property Law, or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 3 years in License Compliance Sales or 5-7 years in software sales management.

• Familiarity with Intellectual Property Law and GDPR is advantageous.

• Results-driven and customer-focused, with the ability to command respect in meetings and presentations.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, objection handling, problem-solving, and program/project management skills, with the ability to deliver difficult messages with empathy and clarity and communicate effectively through business email.

• Proficiency in verbal communication in English, Thai, and Mandarin. Experience with Chinese culture preferred.

• Proven experience in collaborating with multiple functional teams, including sales, finance, business operations, and partners.

• Ability to plan and prioritize effectively according to objectives and deadlines.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure

• Self-motivated, proactive, can-do attitude, and results-oriented

• Travel to visit customer is a must
