The Role:

The License Compliance (LC) Sales Executives areresponsible for finding, validating and closing LC leads in North America. Repswork closely with Siemens direct sales team, legal, technical specialists, andother members of the LC team on compliance matters. LC Sales Reps develop theirown leads as well as investigate leads from sales teams. LC Sales Reps workwith customers on resolving compliance issues via telephone. Accountsworked will vary across various vertical markets. LC Sales reps are responsiblefor meeting and exceeding annual LC sales quota

Responsibilities:

In thisrole, you will keep 75+ plus compliance opportunities humming toward close. Youwill need to have extremely strong attention to detail, great projectmanagement skills and a knack for managing a high-volume work load. You lovetechnology, working with customers and sales teams. You can conduct challengingconversations in a polite and positive manner.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to apply Siemenslicensing rules to various customers' software deployments and ability toexplain to customers why they are non-compliant.
  • Drives inbound calls and conductsoutbound calls on compliance targets.
  • Responsible for a minimum of 75opportunities on a quarterly basis.
  • Engages customers to participate in acompliance self-audit process to develop compliance opportunities.
  • Presents self-audit findings and setstimelines for resolution with customers.
  • Highly involved in customer negotiationson compliance deals.
  • Ability to handle unpopular /impassioned discussions and negotiations around non-compliance matters.
  • Maintains basic knowledge of Siemensproducts, competition and industry trends along with understanding projectdelivery methods.
  • Previous experience dealing withprinciples, owners and executives in sales situations.
  • Pro-actively establishes collaborativerelationships with vertical sales teams and partners engaging them withcompliance customers to assemble alternate proposals to resolve complianceissues.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft OfficeProducts (Excel/Word/Power point).
  • Proficient in CRM tools (SFDC), andcollaboration tools (Teams and SharePoint)
  • Responsible for cross-selling orup-selling as is appropriate. Works with field sales staff or resellers tomanage opportunities, account resource allocation, account strategy and closingsales.
  • Understanding of software licensingmodels, license agreements and contracts
  • Uses SFDC to track lead, opportunities,activities and results; updates field sales on results and generates visibilityon call activity and lead tracking for sales and marketing effectivenessreports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 3-5 years of experience in software Sales Support, LicenseCompliance, Inside Sales or Maintenance /Service Renewals.

  • Strong SalesForce.com skills
  • English Language- Excellent written andverbal communications skills
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills- Proficiency in English (writing and reading, and conversation)
  • Works both independently and in team environments and can manage multiple priorities

• Highly proficientcomputer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business Management or related
  • Previous License Compliance, InsideSales or Renewals experience is a big PLUS
  • Understanding of software licensingmodels, license agreements and contracts
  • Previous experience dealing withprinciples, owners and executives in sales situations and/ or collections.

The total cash compensation range for this position is$101,700 to $203,400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target.The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education/training.
