Position Overview:

We provide local IT support to the customer. We are generalists, and our support includes helping the customer with any IT issue, including hardware, software related, networking, cyber security issues, help with onboarding and offboarding of new employees ..etc. In addition, we participate in various IT projects that help bring IT to the next level.

We also provide the necessary training to our internal customers and help level 3 support with any help needed. For example, if the networking team requires assistance, where are there to help?

Brief job description:

Siemens Digital Software is looking for an Intern to help us provide technical assistance to our customers with the guidance of our technical Support engineer, the Intern will learn to help diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.

What are my Responsibilities?

* Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues

* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration

* Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers)

* Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

* Ensure all issues are properly logged

* Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting

* Maintain jovial relationships with clients

Ultimately, you will be a person our customer's trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

* Currently studying final year or still have 3 semesters to finish your bachelor's degree in any of the following careers - Computer Sciences Engineering, Computer Systems, Software Programming Engineering, Developing Software Engineering or related.
* Advance English skills is a must
* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaboration

Location: Mexico City
