Position Overview:

The exciting, fastgrowing Digital Industry Software Division of Siemens is actively recruitingInfrastructure Architects for our Professional Services Life Cycle Servicesteam. The Life Cycle Services team focus' on our Teamcenter products.

As a SiemensInfrastructure Architect, responsible for the translation of businessrequirements into specific process aligned infrastructure designs for theSiemens Digital Industry Software solution based best practices in the subjectarea, in order for the Siemens Digital Industry Software solution to delivermarket leading solutions and provide value to the customer. In line withproject processes and messaging, interact with the customer to support themanagement of customer expectations and support customer adoption by leveragingthe complete Siemens Delivery framework.

As part of theProfessional Services team, you will work with Consultants, SolutionArchitects, Project Managers, Industry Experts and Product Development teams toensure project and customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Siemens DISW SaaS strategy and implementation of X products.
  • Act as infrastructure consultant to strategic Sales/Pre-Sales pursuits and Services projects, providing guidance through the complexity of Infrastructure architecture options and the long-term roadmap for the solution.
  • Act as the authority on infrastructure architectural design to address business problems.
  • Provides direction for infrastructure design, sizing, security recommendations, database, Operating system, and network recommendations, system monitoring, and performance optimization internally or at customer sites. Consults on strategic and/or complex Enterprise projects at country level, of diverse scope that require specialist expertise and high levels of technical leadership.
  • Works under self-management within project and/ or task constraints and will determine solutions, methodologies and procedures on assignments/projects.
  • Leverage relevant templates in the deployment of project solutions in own specialist area and contribute to best practices and templates.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Required knowledge and experience in deploying, configuring, and supporting applications within Cloud (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) or on-prem environments.
  • Required at least 5 years of experience implementing (software installation) and upgrading moderately complex Siemens Teamcenter environments.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), Databases (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL), Web Application server technologies (JBoss/WildFly/Tomcat/WebSphere/WebLogic/IIS), Networks, Computer Systems and Storage Devices.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with optimizing/troubleshooting software deployments
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in DevOps methodology and CICD tools/practices
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in Container Orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, K8s) on native Linux and cloud platforms
  • Knowledgeable in encryption and authentication protocols such as SSL,TLS, SAML, OIDC
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) skills - Intermediate
  • Customer requirements gathering and design writing experience.
  • Self-managed; strong communication skills (written and oral); leadership of a small teams.
  • Good communication skills at various levels throughout an organization.

The total cash compensation range for this position is$116,900 to $233,800 with 7.5% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target.The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education/training.
