Position Overview
The role involves managing InfoSec ceremonies, includingaccess reviews, SOC2 compliance, ISO 27001 adherence, and continuousimprovement processes! It contributes to the development of quality systems,tools, and materials while implementing corporate quality initiatives. Theposition provides support with general guidance in one area and demonstratesproficiency across multiple disciplines.
Additionally, the role assists with special projects undersenior team members, applying relevant tools and methodologies to complete andoccasionally lead tasks! The individual evaluates new tools and procedures,offering management suggestions for improvements and solutions, and analyzesevents to report on assurance findings. As an individual contributor, thisposition reports to cloud quality assurance management and collaborates withcross-border teams!
Responsibilities
- Identify relevant InfoSec requirements for cloud operations, including standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 27002, and SOC 2.
- Provide guidance on assurance related to security features in cloud-hosted products, as well as operating tools, networks, infrastructure, firewalls, security controls, and coding standards.
- Identify InfoSec risks and gaps, advising on various options to address them, including their pros and cons.
- Review implementation processes and serve as a technical liaison between the cloud and auditing teams.
- Assist in building a database for audit evidence and ensure end-to-end business process compliance with standards.
- Review process artifacts, suggest improvements, and author new processes as needed.
Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience
- Working experience of implementing InfoSec controls in cloud environment
- Hands on experience of auditing / reviewing InfoSec controls
- Lead auditor certification on ISO 27001
- Demonstrate results in a time bound manner
- Able to collaborate and coordinate with globally distributed teams, in a highly matrix organization
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency with office collaboration tools
- 8 years of relevant experience and looking for long term association
- Excellent written and verbal communication of Business language that is English.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
- Ability to guide on InfoSec requirements from NIST, TISAX, ITAR, GDPR, FEDRAMP etc.
- Basic education in engineering or Information technology or sciences
- Understanding of ITSM (ISO 20000) model
- Understanding of ISO 9001 requirements
- Experience of implementing/ adopting GRC tools
- Worked in services operations
