The Catapult Marketing team is looking for a new team member to help define, promote and deploy our C++ & SystemC High-Level Synthesis (HLS) solutions. As a Factory HLS expert, you will be part of the Global Technical Product Marketing team reporting to the Divisional Technical Product Management Director for HLS. This role involves working with Sales, Application Engineering, Customers, and Product Software Engineering teams to develop, position, sell and support Catapult HLS and related products.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key customers to understand business needs and define new technologies and techniques to create the future of HLS
- Specify features and capabilities for HLS in partnership with customers and software engineering
- Analyze and rework HLS designs to improve Quality of Results and our product offering
- Create and deliver customer training on HLS Products and methodologies
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, webinars, forums
- Attend, participate, and present at conferences such as DAC, Siemens User2User and DVCon, plus others
- Be expected to travel up to 20% of the time nationally, and internationally

This role requires a strong digital hardware engineering design & architecture background, with exposure to verification as a plus. Experience in the design of custom Algorithm/DSP implementations in HLS or RTL targeting verticals such as wireless, optical communication, image/video processing/compression or AI/ML is key. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical capabilities, and strong communication skills to be able to understand, describe and influence product requirements with our software team. Interaction with internal and external stakeholders at customers with the Siemens EDA sales organization is key, and some national and international travel will be required.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, electronic or computer engineering or related field
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
- Experience in EDA Technical Marketing, Application Engineering, or Digital Hardware Design with High-Level Synthesis or traditional RTL synthesis
- Direct hands-on ASIC or FPGA hardware design experience targeting algorithmic applications such as Video/Image/Signal Processing or AI/ML verticals is preferred
- Experience of RTL synthesis for timing and area QoR and relevant verification flows is preferred
- Understanding of RTL Power Estimation and Optimization would be a plus
- C++ and/or SystemC language basic proficiency is a plus
This position is offered in Wilsonville Oregon (USA), Fremont California (USA). Full-time in-office or Hybrid (up to three days in the office) is preferred, though for the right senior-level candidate, we can (and do) offer fully remote working from a fixed US mainland location as an option.
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $151,300 to $272,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
