About the role

As a Global Presales Director-Semi Lifecycle Management you will develop and drive the global pre-sale approach for Semi Lifecycle Management (SLcM) with focus on the following 3 objectives:

Global accounts:

  • Develop and execute a global pre-sales approach to succeed better at global accounts and support regions that don't have the correct pre-sales competency and capacity

Business Enablement

  • Drive the enablement of pre-sales in the semiconductor industry together with your peer for smart manufacturing to scale the business by primarily focusing on SLcM, but also on simulation and integration with other DI SW solutions as well as the integration with smart manufacturing for semi. Ramp up knowledge in zones and key countries where it is missing, driving a consistent approach

Portfolio & Strategy

  • Influence and contribute in your role as global pre-sales the roadmap, feature development for global accounts and the semi strategy to substantially grow the business we achieve in this industry

Area of Responsibility

Develop and drive the global pre-sale approach for semi with focus on the following 3 areas:

Global accounts:

  • Driving governance for global accounts to ensure HQ and regional sites are aligned with problem and solution statements
  • Deliver workshops with global accounts to understand their challenges and drive a prescriptive approach to position the value of our portfolio.
  • Support regions that don't have local pre-sales capacity or knowledge in this industry

Business Enablement

  • Drive a global pre-sales approach to the local pre-sales teams to ensure we use a consistent pre-sales approach worldwide
  • Lead enablement for pre-sales for SLcM
  • creation of demos and campaign material together with the global PFD team.
  • Supporting Learning & Development with consulting on what they need to prepare for successful training curriculum development.

Portfolio & Strategy

  • Engage directly with the product management team to drive the needs for the industry and especially for the global customers
  • Contribute as a core member of the DM strategy team to lay out a plan to substantially grow the business within the next 3 years.
  • Support the industry team as an advisor for SLcM

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree holder in Engineering or Information Technology
  • Experienced in driving pre-sales activities across global accounts ensuring global governance, preferably in a prescriptive sales approach
  • Extensive and proven lifecycle management knowledge in semi, especially in terms of value of solutions
  • Basic ERP knowledge (advanced is preferred)
  • Solution knowledge with Siemens DM solutions or competitive products
