What you'll be doing
Siemens Industry Software has an opportunity for an Intern to join us on a 13-month paid placement located in London, UK, to support our Global Team. The role will support routine global Sales and Pre-Sales operations, as well as strategic projects in areas such as Customer Advocacy and Sales Planning.

During an initial 2-3-month onboarding period, the Sales Operations Support & Communications Intern will be fully office based Monday to Friday. Once the onboarding period has ended and based on management discretion, voluntary hybrid working - with a weekly maximum of working 2 days from home - will be an option for the remainder of the placement period.
This position is an exciting chance for someone to network frequently between senior business leaders and the Siemens worldwide organization, supporting the execution of our go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Support internal operations, including day to day activity, special projects and events.
- Support the running of global customer advocacy programs.
- Support zone/country operation of account development.
- Develop, manage, and maintain internal Highspot sites.
- Manage internal communications such as newsletters and Viva Engage channels.
- Manage TEAMS and SharePoint document archives.
- Track action lists from meetings.
- Video content editing and video voiceover work in line with Siemens brand guidelines.
- Develop/design and collate information from internal surveys.
- Develop & maintain apps using platforms such as Power Apps.
- Assist in providing reports and analytics for our Product Portfolios, to be reviewed by senior leadership.
- Develop or refine content to support areas covered by the global operations team including customer advocacy, Sales, Portfolio Development, PreSales and Account Development, for internal and customer consumption.
- Develop the ability to take ownership of assigned project(s) and drive to completion, with increasing independence over the course of the internship.

- Confident, enthusiastic, and creative approach to communication
- Comfortable with frequent remote meetings using Microsoft Teams.
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Eagerness and ability to learn new software tools and platforms (eg. Salesforce, Highspot, Camtasia, MS Power Apps, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Forms, Stream - prior knowledge of any of these is a plus)
- Understanding of Software Sales and/or Software companies is a plus.
