Siemens DI Software is looking for a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Computer Science student with interest in Finite Element Analysis to work directly with the FEMAP software development team at its office. FEMAP is an advanced engineering simulation software program that creates finite element analysis models of complex engineering products and systems, and displays solution results. FEMAP can virtually model components, assemblies or systems and determine the behavioral response for a given operating environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform modeling sessions with FEMAP then use the Simcenter Nastran Finite Element solver, another Siemens DI Software product, to perform analyses, thus exercising new and existing features in the software.
- Provide User Interface design direction and participate in planning of new features.
- Verify accuracy of current learning materials and update these materials as necessary - potential to author new learning materials.
- Development of custom applications for use by customers and/or the FEMAP development team using the FEMAP Applications Programming Interface (API)

The hourly range for this position is $23.00 to$50.00 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
