We are looking for an ETL Quality Engineer to join our Brightly team in Cairo, Egypt.
As an ETL Quality Engineer, you'll have a significant impact on enhancing operational efficiency and resolving quality issues that affect our solutions and services. Your primary focus will be on strategic projects that optimize quality and elevate the customer experience for our internal stakeholders, including project managers and consultants. Collaborating closely with both the Data Services and Technology teams, you will streamline processes, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the solution quality throughout the product lifecycle. Plan, document, and execute testing and verification activities.
- Design and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and quality in Data Services operations.
- Build and maintain a robust knowledge base to facilitate information sharing and reduce recurring issues.
- Create templates to ensure consistency and quality across team activities.
- Manage and enhance the ticketing system, ensuring efficient resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Develop reporting metrics to monitor and enhance the Data Services team's performance.
- Coordinate with other technical teams, such as Product and Cloud Operations, to improve inter-team workflows.
- Lead projects aimed at simplifying complex processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, process optimization, or testing and automation.
- Expertise in managing ticketing systems, backlog, and issue tracking.
- Background in leading or supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with a focus on technical and operational collaboration.
- Previous exposure to data services, IT, or technical environments is a plus.

- Solid understanding of testing principles and terminologies.
- Strong grasp of business and technical workflows, with the ability to identify process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas in clear, actionable terms.
- Proficiency in managing ticketing systems, creating templates, and implementing knowledge management systems.
- Proven collaborative skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on problem-solving and process efficiency.
- Familiarity with tools for project management, ticketing, or quality control.
