About the Role:
As an Environmental and Energy Compliance Specialist, you will support the DI SW Global Environmental Protection Officer in fulfilling environmental responsibilities. This includes maintaining an effective Global Environmental Management System for the business, with a focus on global processes and defining product- and business-specific environmental and energy-related requirements and standards. You will play a key role in the continuous improvement and execution of Siemens Environmental and Energy global governance.

Area of responsibility:
- Collaborate with the Product Environmental Protection coordinator to define and audit processes for Product Environmental Compliance (e.g., REACH, RoHS, Battery, Packaging, WEEE).
- Support and promote global environmental programs in DI SW and monitor their effectiveness.
- Plan, implement, and follow up on location assessments/inspection programs in close alignment with the Global and regional EHS Team.
- Assist in identifying applicable statutory requirements and implementing action plans to ensure compliance.
- Develop procedures and guidelines to ensure an effective energy management system.
- Support the definition of energy aspects and the evaluation of risks and opportunities for various locations.
- Foster cooperation and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Typically, three years of successful experience in a related field with demonstrated key responsibilities and knowledge. At least one year of Environmental Compliance experience is desirable.
- Degree in a technical field, preferably in Material, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Evidenced training or expertise in a broad spectrum of environmental and energy topics.
- Advanced understanding of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and product environmental regulatory aspects.
- Business proficiency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Excellent virtual team player and networker.
How do we work ?
You can work both remote or hybrid - depending of your location. Since we work very closely with our employees, we are looking for a team member who will travel locally occasionally on our sites.
