Digital Engagement Marketing Coordinator - Academic

Livonia, MI

You will be a key player in our organic account activation efforts across content marketing, email nurturing, account-based marketing (ABM), social marketing, search marketing, and more. You possess both hands-on campaign execution and tools knowledge around omnichannel-based marketing and the analytical skills to optimize campaigns based on testing and ongoing results. You have an entrepreneurial approach and can both independently and collaboratively conceptualize campaign improvements.

We are looking for digital marketing specialist to join a newer team to design and execute marketing programs focused on maintaining contact engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create engagement marketing strategies together with the high education focused marketing team along with other engagement marketing peers across the department.
  • Craft and execute comprehensive omnichannel engagement nurture strategies to enhance customer and prospect relationships throughout the lifecycle
  • Develop and implement targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to engage key accounts and decision-makers
  • Gather targeted content and build communication plans that align with customer segments, ensuring personalized and relevant interactions.
  • Implement A/B testing and other analytical methods to assess the effectiveness of nurture campaigns and make data-driven adjustments
  • Analyze contact behavior and engagement data to refine and optimize nurture journeys
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align engagement strategies with business objectives
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into engagement strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target audience, their pain points, and motivations to drive creation of compelling and resonant nurture content
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engagement
  • Continuously assess and enhance the customer journey, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and drive desired outcomes
  • Proficiently handle the execution of advanced marketing automation and email marketing components within campaigns, encompassing everything from scheduling to HTML email creation, and management within our marketing automation platform.
  • Lead the updating and optimization efforts of landing pages to ensure alignment with current best practices and to maximize conversion rates, leveraging data-driven insights and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate adeptness in campaign setup, form and segment management, and email campaign reporting, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Conduct regular A/B testing, measurement, and optimization efforts to drive a high volume of inquiries while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional marketing teams to design and execute strategic campaigns aligned with business priorities, leveraging industry knowledge and key personas effectively.
  • Utilize online project management and communication tools such as Wrike and Teams within an agile environment to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.
  • Collaborate with writers to refine email copy, ensuring compelling content that drives conversions and prompts strong calls to action, with a focus on engaging subject lines, headlines, and CTAs.
  • Skillfully edit, optimize, and publish emails, incorporating images, links, and cutting-edge email best practices into our email marketing platform.
  • Generate insightful reports using data from various sources including Eloqua, Qlikview, and Google Analytics, to address specific business inquiries and assess marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Take charge of creating, approving, and managing campaign tracking parameters, specifically UTMs, to accurately monitor campaign performance and attribution.
  • Utilize best practices and data insights to refine email elements for maximum impact

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations. Be able to hold yourself and your team accountable to deadlines.
  • Awareness and understanding of various digital marketing tactics and how to identify opportunities to maximize visibility and demand generation for our prioritized solutions and campaigns.
  • Able to align tactical plans with strategies consistently producing results on time and within budget readily adapting to changing market and organizational requirements.
  • Fluent in English and effective at presenting across a wide range of functional and organizational roles
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs and analytics and leveraging the analytics dashboards or working with our data analytics team to create or modify dashboards to meet the needs of your KPIs
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience in contact management, lead scoring, and CRM integration, particularly with Salesforce.com, is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, advanced degree such as an MBA would be great
  • The right person has 3+ years of successful experience across B2B digital and content marketing
  • Experience with UTMs and marketing funnel optimization
  • Knowledge of marketing automation principles and practices that involve nurturing both prospect and customers
  • Understanding of business-to-business marketing tactics, techniques, and strategies
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms, e.g., Eloqua, Braze, Pardot, Marketo, etc.
  • Basic analytics capabilities familiar with different data collection and measurement techniques
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus
  • Proficiency with web content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML code
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong process orientation: able to analyze requests, determine the scope, research options, recommend a solution, execute and measure project success

The hourlyrange for this position is $38.99 to $70.19 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
