Digital Acquisition Marketing Coordinator - Academic

Livonia, MI

At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that's driving the future of marketing. We are looking for digital marketing specialist to join a newer team to execute acquisition marketing programs focused on search and social tactics to drive awareness and demand for our academic focused offerings. Bringing your experience with the buyer's journey, engagement strategies, and marketing execution, you'll immediately make an impact through a positive relationship with your peers, immediate team and a large organization of B2B marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-creates inbound marketing strategies together with the Academic focused marketing team along with other Search and Social Acquisition peers across the department.
  • Develops and maintain a holistic view of all search and social activities providing regular and consistent feedback on performance to stakeholders
  • Conduct regular operational reviews to highlight successes and prioritize investment/improvement areas for search and social activities.
  • Together with manager and marketing planner manage allocated search and social marketing budget
  • Build out focused personas and audiences using social campaign channels and tools
  • Finding and optimizing keywords / critical search terms and related webpages and ad copy to optimize the customer and buyer journey and deliver the right message at the right time to the right audience.
  • Actively empower the planning and coordination of search programs and being able to share best practices to cross collaborating teams.
  • Join forces with peers in Search and Social teams to achieve continuous improvement in both process and business outcomes, ensuring quality, scalability, and team engagement.
  • Regularly report on organic and paid search performance for your industry and make recommendations on how to improve and expand our search presence and demand generation.
  • Name and maintain a list of top business critical keywords that we are tracking and optimizing against to support our web traffic and acquisition strategy for the business.
  • Support overall execution of search promotions, including organic and paid search across various search platforms. Ads could include but are not limited to search text ads, remarketing, YouTube ads, P. Max campaigns, banner ads via search networks, and more. Platforms inclusive of Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Platforms Content Production & Optimization team's SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Track and report on our Google Core Vitals for your industry pages.
  • Develop both technical and soft skills and capabilities to ensure there is enough coverage of the key responsibilities based on the business needs.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations. Be able to hold yourself and your team accountable to deadlines.
  • Awareness and understanding of inbound marketing tactics and how to identify opportunities to maximize visibility and demand generation for our prioritized solutions and campaigns.
  • Able to market to a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of offers and tactics with advanced inbound marketing proficiency and tools
  • Able to align tactical plans with strategies consistently producing results on time and within budget readily adapting to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Fluent in English and effective at presenting across a wide range of functional and organizational roles
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs and analytics and leveraging the analytics dashboards or working with our data analytics team to create or modify dashboards to meet the needs of your KPIs
  • Exposure to running inbound marketing tests, MVPs, or activities
  • Experience with project and budget management tools, ideally Wrike and Allocadia
  • Understanding of buyer's journey and B2B marketing strategies.
  • Exposure to working with various search engine partners and vendor management
  • Advanced agile mindset with ability and experience in managing complex stakeholder situations, changing scope, and complex technical landscapes
  • Experience with creating campaigns using social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit and or tools that publish to them.
  • Experience or willingness to learn working with SEO and Search marketing tools and platforms such as SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio
  • Writing skills on an engaging ad copy.
  • Experience with project and budget management tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related field,
    Advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus
  • The right person has 3+ years of successful experience across B2B digital and content marketing
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in marketing to Higher Education institutions, but not a requirement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations.
  • Possess outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and research skills

Thisposition will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export AdministrationRegulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S.Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The hourlyrange for this position is $38.99 to $70.19 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
