Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operation,maintenance, and projects of critical sites across assigned geographiclocations.
  • Monitor and track non-regionaldata center (RDC) kW utilization (power and cooling) and gather budget planningrequests for the assigned region.
  • Support the procurement,installation, and maintenance of non-RDC critical infrastructure (CI) in theassigned region.
  • Maintain and manage criticalinfrastructure across data centers and specialized laboratory environments,ensuring uninterrupted operation of power distribution, cooling systems, andfacilities' critical infrastructure systems. Document procedures, configurations,and troubleshooting steps.
  • Supervise routine inspections,preventive maintenance, and upgrades to optimize the performance andreliability of equipment.
  • Collaborate with relevantstakeholders in non-critical site maintenance, operation, and emergencyprocedures.
  • Act as the first responder foralarms and incidents in the assigned geographic region, diagnosing andresolving issues efficiently. Participate in the call-down list to provide 24/7support for critical systems and emergencies.
  • Develop Root Cause Analyses(RCAs) for events in the assigned geographic locations.
  • Collaborate with externalvendors for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations, and with internalstakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 3+5 years of practical experience in maintaining mechanical systems within data centers, specialized laboratory environments, or similar critical spaces.
  • HVAC Technician Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Solid understandingof power distribution, network cabling systems, and facilities criticalinfrastructure systems.
  • Strongproblem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with teams andvendors.
  • Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and environmental monitoring systems is advantageous.
  • Willingness totravel occasionally and work flexible schedules as required.

The salaryrange for this position is $82,900 to $149,200 and this role is eligible toearn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
