Job Summary: The Chief IP (Intellectual Property) Security Expert is responsible for overseeing and implementing the organization's security strategy to protect its information, assets, and personnel. This role involves developing and enforcing security policies, managing security operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Chief Security Expert will lead a team of security professionals to oversee the management of DI SW's source code and other IP areas. They will also work closely with other departments to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures related to source code access with both internal and external 3rd parties..
- Lead and manage the security team, providing guidance and support.
- Work closely with product teams to implement policies and technology that minimizes the impact to developer productivity, while at the same time greatly reducing chances of IP theft.
- Work with various teams to automate and link approaches to the CI/CD pipeline processes of various products.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
- Oversee the design and implementation of security systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
- Develop and implement strategies to protect intellectual property (IP) and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with legal and R&D teams to ensure IP protection measures are integrated into business processes.
- Monitor and address potential IP infringements and breaches.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect source code and software development processes.
- Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and code review processes.
- Define and implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper access controls are in place to protect sensitive information and systems.
- Utilize certified ethical hacking techniques to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH is a plus.
- Must have experience coding or building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in protecting source code and software development processes.
- Experience in defining and implementing identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex security projects and initiatives.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in intellectual property protection and management.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification or equivalent experience.
- Development experience with various coding languages including C, C++, C#, Python, and others.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Knowledge of cloud security and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Experience with coding Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Large Language Models.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional travel.
- On-call availability for security incidents.
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $177,000 to $318,600 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
