Position Overview:

We are looking for a software engineer to join the Calibre product software development team. Calibre's high-capacity and high-performance tools are key to our customers' success in building integrated circuits (ICs) for the semiconductor industry.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting high-capacity and high-performance software for IC verification. Challenges will include computational geometry, high-performance computing, multi-threading, and multi-platform support. You will be part of a group of senior software engineers and architects contributing to new components and algorithms and supporting existing components.

You will collaborate with product management, quality assurance, technical publications, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule. You will participate in the scheduling and estimation of tasks and assist in defining and developing best practices for software development. Self-motivation, the desire to take technical ownership, a results-driven positive attitude, and team orientation will contribute to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development in C and C++.
  • Strong analysis, design, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of high-performance data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Experience enhancing mission-critical complex high-performance code base.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with VLSI design principles.
  • Experience with Software Development on Linux.
  • Knowledge of Techniques for processing high-volume data.
  • Knowledge of graph theory and algorithms and knowledge of computational geometry.
  • Experience with Multi-threaded, multi-processor, and distributed computing.
  • Firm belief in the tenets of developing high-quality, testable, and maintainable software.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.

The salary rangefor this position is $121,400 to $218,500, and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
