About the Role: Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking to recruit experienced technical business development professionals with a strong background in sales and customer relationship management to join our Japanese sales team and drive our growth in the autonomy industry.

Our Simcenter™ Portfolio of simulation and test solutions offers Simcenter Autonomy, one of the few integrated solutions for virtual development and validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Highly Automated Driving systems. It provides data analysis solutions and high-fidelity physics-based simulation models of all sensors relevant for automated driving (such as camera, radar, lidar) through our Simcenter Prescan product, aimed at OEMs and TIERs to accelerate the market introduction of their innovations.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our global sales team and product experts in Europe as a Business Developer to drive business growth and expand our market presence in Japan. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Japanese market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective business strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
• Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.
• Participate in industry events and networking activities to promote the company.
• Act as an ambassador for Simcenter Autonomy internally, raising awareness of the solution within our customer-facing organization, coaching peers in the countries, and sharing market feedback with product management and marketing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, computer science, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience in using/presenting/demonstrating software in a commercial sales pursuit, in the context of a particular customer's business needs, with an emphasis on business value and customer benefits.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Strong understanding of the Japanese market and business culture.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Experience in the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems or autonomous driving is a plus.
