Siemens EDA, Electronics Board Systems Division, is seeking an experienced professional to join our portfolio unit marketing team. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a unique blend of skills, including product marketing, marketing programs, and exceptional communication abilities, particularly in evangelism and persona targeting. This role will play a crucial part in our wide digital outreach efforts, aimed at expanding Siemens' presence in the printed circuit board software solutions market for SMBs and mid-markets.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic and engaging personality, capable of effectively evangelizing Siemens solutions across multiple digital platforms. These platforms include social media, industry portals, and Siemens' own digital properties. The candidate will be responsible for engaging the targeted engineering audience through various media outreach channels, such as videos, blogs, vlogs, and live streams. They should actively seek out platforms that allow them to connect with the intended audience.

Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of marketing messaging, collateral, and programs that drive thought leadership, increase awareness, and support the go-to-market success of this cross-company initiative. To establish credibility, it is preferred that the candidate has hands-on experience using PCB software solutions and possesses in-depth knowledge of the methodologies and challenges of printed circuit design.
While this role is an individual contributor position, it requires a growth mindset and strong team leadership skills to drive programs and foster collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate and promote Siemens technology to targeted SMBs and mid-markets through various platforms, with a focus on digital channels, to increase awareness and drive technology adoption.
- Create compelling and engaging content, including videos, blogs, articles, tutorials, and other formats, that effectively communicates technical concepts and best practices to the target audience.
- Build relationships with influencers in the PCB solutions space for the mid-market, and foster community-building activities to expand awareness of Siemens solutions among the target audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing programs, product development, and engineering, to ensure alignment and maintain strong feedback loops between Sales, Field Enablement, and Marketing for effective collateral and messaging.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for target-relevant platforms, both digital and live conferences, to extend communication reach and engage with the targeted audience.
- Monitor and evaluate progress by tracking and reporting progress-to-goals, analyzing performance metrics, and making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product and technical marketing specifically within an engineering software solutions company, with a preference for expertise in electronics development, PCB design, or EDA.
- Familiarity with the entire PCB development process, including supply chain, design, and manufacturing, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the electronics ecosystems (suppliers, service providers, manufacturing, etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of marketing success in comparable roles, including program management, communications, and digital marketing.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work independently to develop and implement new programs and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep things well organized.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and work effectively in a team environment.
- Mindset oriented towards high growth and ownership of projects and responsibilities.

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
