About the Role

As part of the country or region Services organization, the Assistant Project Manager will oversee one or multiple services projects, driving value realisation for customers. These projects vary in size and complexity, ranging from medium to high, and may be part of a larger program. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project(s) within defined targets, including financial, schedule, scope, and quality, while maintaining customer satisfaction. Acting as the primary point of contact, the Project Manager will collaborate with Sales, Presales, Engagement Managers, Services Management, and the customer to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure projects are completed successfully, meeting organisational objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Area of Responsibility

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between project stakeholders and the team.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding status, risks, and changes.
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, implementing risk mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure proper documentation of the project, including final deliverables and knowledge sharing for future projects.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • A proven track record of project delivery: Time Management, Organisational skills, Risk Management, Budgeting, project administration and performance tracking
  • You have an agile mindset, coupled with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. You enjoy and thrive working and leading a diverse group of individuals
  • An ability to think strategically and tactically through issues that may affect your project and work with your team to resolve issues proactively
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
