General Summary of the Job:

The primary purpose is working closely with customers and thesales team to manage technical engagements that support sales campaigns.

Having wide-ranging experience, uses hands-on technicalskills and professional concepts aligned with company objectives to resolvecomplex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues whereanalysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variablefactors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and influencing evaluationcriteria for obtaining optimal results. Internal and external contacts oftenpertain to company plans and objectives.

Has advanced-level productknowledge for a wide-range of products or flows. Uses advanced technical and businessskills to drive products into customer projects and to recognize and uncovernew business opportunities. Typically interacts with senior-level personnel atcustomer sites and determines methods and procedures to drive business into theassigned account. May provide guidance to other personnel.

Essential Functions:

• To develop close relationships with customers tobe able to assess their technical requirements and the options/ability for Siemens'sEDA's physical verification flows/solutions in order to develop and implementtechnical sales plans. This may be through proactive virtual contact, deliveryof presentations and demonstrations, articulating product value statements, andengagement in technical benchmarks and evaluations. % of time: ~25

• To drive products into customer projects toensure adoption by creating methodology and flows; this may includeinfrastructure and integration into a customer's environment and theidentification of pilot projects for tool use and the debugging and bring-up ofnew methodologies and flows. % of time: ~25

• To uncover or qualify new opportunities, thetechnical viability of a lead and communicate the opportunity clearly to thesales team. Using this information to establish success criteria for technicalengagements that effectively position Siemens EDA areas of strength. % of time:~25

• To provide technical leadership on all aspectsof a sales campaign with the aim of contributing to account/area technicalbusiness plans. % of time: ~15

• To share, in a proactive manner, account,evaluation, competitor, technology and other useful information with peers,sales teams, management and product divisions to help us to compete moreeffectively. % of time: ~10

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Deep technical expertise in Calibre solutionsand/or other commercial PVX tools

• Understanding of commercial IC physical designflows

• Ability to uncover new business opportunitiesand stimulate the market for growth

• Advanced understanding of technology/science andable to explain and optimize results

• Ability to prioritize and document allactivities based on business ROI

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Canpresent confidently to large audiences.

• Can write advanced complex scripts and ruledecks

• Familiarity with job submission for large PVruns in compute farm and/or cloud environment

• Awareness of competitive tool requirements, netlists/interfaces

Education and ExperienceRequirement:

• BSEE or BSCS is required; MSEE preferred

• Minimum total 8 years of industry experience inphysical verification of IC's, with 2 or more years' experience in an AE orequivalent role

Working Conditions/PhysicalRequirements:

• Normal Office Environment / Hybrid Option

• Significant on-site time with customers

• Some air travel required

• Some overnight business travel required

The total cash compensation range for this position is$135,700 to $271,400 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target.The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education/training.
