Weare looking for a highly motivated, innovative Application Engineer for OPC (Optical Proximity Correction) to work in our North American CalibreFoundry/SEMI Manufacturing Solution team. You will be part of a high-performingApplication Engineering Team responsible for designing, developing, anddebugging Calibre based OPC/RET solutions, and responsible for deliveringsoftware solutions to our world leading customers in the semiconductormanufacturing industry. As application engineers, we build a"trusted advisor" relationship with our customers to help them solve theirtechnical challenges using Calibre. You will be teaming up with the Calibre R&D teamfor fast prototype development to solve our customers challenges. You will be based in Singapore supportinglocal customers with the opportunity to work with customers in North Americaand Europe. Our application engineering team is a creative, dynamic, and highlyproductive small team environment.

Thisis an ideal role for recent PhD's interested in building a career focused onOPC/RET or for experienced engineers with 5+ years' experience in theSemiconductor Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Playa role as a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography, being orientedto problem solving for our industry leading customers.
- Building"trusted advisor" relationships with our customers & developing a deepunderstanding of their specific challenges and then finding creative solutionsto address those challenges with the Calibre platform.
- Developingsoftware prototypes and solutions with the factory to solve our customerschallenges arising in computational lithography, OPC modeling, advanced maskcorrection using the Calibre platform and other programming languages such asPython, Tcl, C/C++ and Bash scripting.
- Deliveringtechnical presentations, demonstrations, and trainings on Calibre OPC/RET/MPCPlatforms.
- Drivingthe adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibreproducts in the design to mask production.
- Travelto customer sites in both Singapore, North America and Europe will be required.
Qualifications:
- Education: M.Sc./M. ENG or Ph.D. in CS, mathematics, physics, EE or a related field.
- 2+years industry experience in semiconductor industry, knowledge inOPC/Computational-Lithography, advanced mask, or IC design tools required.
- Intermediate/advancedprogramming skills like python, tcl or C/C++ required.
- 5+years' experience in Linux/Unix environments required.
- Strongknowledge and background in modeling and simulation for optics, electromagneticwaves, or photoresist.
- Imagingprocessing or optimization algorithm development experience is a plus.
- Directexperience in Siemens Calibre Platform is strongly preferred but not required.
- Self-motivatedand enthusiastically focused on problem solving.
- Strongtechnical and written communication skills.
