The role

The Key Account Executive is responsible for spearheading growth of strategic, high-value B2B partnerships to accelerate revenue, increase market share, and drive long-term enterprise success. This role requires a strategic, results-oriented sales professional who excels in building long-term client relationships, negotiating service contracts, and maximizing account performance. The Key Account Executive will manage an assigned portfolio of HVP accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding, increasing worked hours, and optimizing account utilization. Success in this role requires a strong sales acumen, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.

Where you'll work

This is a 100% onsite role at our office in Irving, TX. This role will also require up to 10% travel to other states as needed for business meetings and client visits.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive full-cycle High-Value Prospect (HVP) sales by targeting, engaging, and winning high-value accounts through strategic outreach, tailored proposals, and contract negotiation (MSAs, SLAs, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive increased utilization and growth within assigned HVP accounts.
  • Use a consultative, insights-driven approach to selling, positioning ShiftKey's platform as a scalable solution to complex client challenges.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, uncovering operational needs and aligning ShiftKey's solutions to deliver measurable business value.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals, including worked hours thresholds, contract activations, and revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and contract statuses within Salesforce.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all agreements adhere to ShiftKey's pricing models, contract terms, and regulatory requirements, avoiding unauthorized pricing reductions.
  • Track and optimize personal commission structures, ensuring eligibility for incentive payouts based on worked hours and account performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HVP accounts, addressing client concerns and fostering long-term partnerships.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5+ years of consultative B2B sales experience with a proven ability to win and expand high value prospect accounts. Background in healthcare, SaaS, or staffing is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to acquire, develop, and manage high-value accounts, driving revenue growth and client retention.
  • Strong contract negotiation and closing skills, with experience securing master services agreements (MSAs).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a client-first approach to sales.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines and track sales performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data insights to drive account success.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including operations and customer support, to ensure seamless account management.
  • Strong adherence to corporate policies, ethical sales practices, and compliance requirements, ensuring all transactions align with company standards.
