Senior B2B/EDI Developer at Sherwin-Williams

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Application Integration Developer role is responsible for architecting and designing applications and managing the integration of their respective in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications. The incumbent encourages department/division application owners to maintain key application data and continuously assess and communicate the application architecture to stakeholders. The incumbent will have a strong focus on implementing best practices around design, development and deployment of integration patterns utilizing cloud-native integration platforms and technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining integrations within our Digital Integration Layer Integration ecosystem. As a technical expert in application integrations, this role involves working closely with the Integration Architects to design and develop integrations using modern integration patterns.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Acquisition & Deployment
- Help plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with cross functional teams for B2B/EDI project implementations.
- Review and suggest changes to requirement gathering, B2B/EDI process design, and B2B/EDI project implementations to continually improve speed and first-time success of EDI implementations.
Strategy & Planning
- Analyze and assess existing B2B/EDI processes to provide recommendations to address, prevent and/or resolve business issues.
- Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
Operational Management
- Aid in the troubleshooting and resolution of B2B/EDI and related integration support issues.
- Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
- Monitor production systems to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies.
- Develop and implement project plans to successfully meet objectives.
Incidental Functions
- Attend meetings on behalf of the B2B/EDI team.
- Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour work day may be required.
- Participate in 24/7 on call support rotation as needed.
- Train and share knowledge with B2B/EDI team.
- Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the B2B/EDI team

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Relocation assistance is provided for this role.

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:

Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in the field of Application Integration or Information Technology

8+ years of B2B/EDI mapping and support experience
8+ years of experience with FTP and AS2 communication protocols
6+ years of experience in application integrations and middleware development
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and tools
Experience in enterprise-grade integrations, data mapping, and transformation
Experience with architecting B2B/EDI systems and B2B/EDI business processes and guiding the development of new B2B/EDI system processes and interfaces
Experience with JIRA & Confluence applications
