ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Application Integration Developer role is responsible for architecting and designing applications and managing the integration of their respective in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications. The incumbent encourages department/division application owners to maintain key application data and continuously assess and communicate the application architecture to stakeholders. The incumbent will have a strong focus on implementing best practices around design, development and deployment of integration patterns utilizing cloud-native integration platforms and technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining integrations within our Digital Integration Layer Integration ecosystem. As a technical expert in application integrations, this role involves working closely with the Integration Architects to design and develop integrations using modern integration patterns.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

  1. Acquisition & Deployment
    • Help plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with cross functional teams for B2B/EDI project implementations.
    • Review and suggest changes to requirement gathering, B2B/EDI process design, and B2B/EDI project implementations to continually improve speed and first-time success of EDI implementations.
  2. Strategy & Planning
    • Analyze and assess existing B2B/EDI processes to provide recommendations to address, prevent and/or resolve business issues.
    • Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
  3. Operational Management
    • Aid in the troubleshooting and resolution of B2B/EDI and related integration support issues.
    • Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
    • Monitor production systems to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies.
    • Develop and implement project plans to successfully meet objectives.
  4. Incidental Functions 
    • Attend meetings on behalf of the B2B/EDI team.
    • Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour work day may be required.
    • Participate in 24/7 on call support rotation as needed.
    • Train and share knowledge with B2B/EDI team.
    • Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the B2B/EDI team

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Relocation assistance is provided for this role. 

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:

  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in the field of Application Integration or Information Technology

  • 8+ years of B2B/EDI mapping and support experience
  • 8+ years of experience with FTP and AS2 communication protocols
  • 6+ years of experience in application integrations and middleware development 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and tools
  • Experience in enterprise-grade integrations, data mapping, and transformation
  • Experience with architecting B2B/EDI systems and B2B/EDI business processes and guiding the development of new B2B/EDI system processes and interfaces 
  • Experience with JIRA & Confluence applications

  • Proven track record with B2B/EDI project leadership or support.
