Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. We started as e-commerce marketers ourselves, and launched SLM with a goal of turning direct mail into a high performing, scalable channel for a digitally native client set. To do so, we’ve taken an inputs based-approach to the space, and re-engineered the channel from the ground up to make it easier to test, faster to execute, more measurable, and ultimately, more effective for e-commerce and tech clients of all types.
So what does SLM actually do? We’re a full-service direct mail agency, media program operator, and technology platform, serving some of your favorite e-commerce and tech brands (think Casper, Lyft, Grubhub, etc.). We live and breathe direct response marketing, and strive to delight clients with high performing campaigns built around fast, data-driven client service, and premium, unique branding.

The Role
We’re looking for a Business Expansion & Incubation Analyst to join Share Local Media.
This Analyst role is a position responsible for the analysis behind a broad range of initiatives across the SLM business (multiple product lines). The role will focus on supporting and exploring cross functional projects focused on high-priority areas and long-term growth.
This role has the opportunity to define and own projects to answer big strategic questions that can better outcomes for SLM clients.
Major responsibilities will include:
- Support cross-functional projects focused on high-priority areas and long-term growth
- Assist development of strategic frameworks and toolkits, including analysis of the size, scale, and complexity of opportunities
- Exhibit best-in-class presentation skills - preparing communications that translate findings from research and analysis into clear and effective presentations and next steps
- Research and provide analytical rigor on a range of business initiatives
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting, research, investment banking, or in product marketing
- Passion for business analysis, including developing and then proving out hypotheses, as well as a comfort with ambiguity
- A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to create the right solutions and approaches for each situation
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of internal and external stakeholder
Bonus Qualifications
- Ecommerce, MarTech industry knowledge or experience
