What the role is

Selina is looking for a highly motivated, passionate, analytical & creative Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for optimizing promotion, distribution, social channels, and revenue generation of all products available within Selina''s locations in the country.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is analytical and data-driven who has experience in running digital marketing campaigns: PPC, CRM, social media; and knowledge on PR, Design and Partnerships.

This position reports to the Country Commercial Director and will be implementing country and regional level strategies.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for unlocking revenue growth across the country and delivering business to Selina''s locations with a creative marketing strategy and strong execution skills.
  • Build and execute a marketing strategy and action plan for the country/region; end-to-end, through setting the goals, writing the briefs for every channel, with details on target audience, budget, messaging and offers.
  • Analyze the marketing campaigns on different channels (social, search, display, CRM, funnel analysis, etc.) and set goals to reach the KPIs.
  • Work together with the P&L owner to hit their targets, both for high and low performing destinations
  • Work closely with the global marketing department, following their guidelines on how to execute and measure local marketing campaigns to drive revenue.
  • Provide support and guidance to the location Sales teams.
  • Define the region marketing strategy and will lead the execution until hitting targets, always aligned with the Commercial and global strategy.
  • Support and execute on-property Photography/Video and local brand assets, including ownership of Global Brand Standards, the approval process for new property assets, coordination and scheduling of property assets, and content management across owned and 3rd party channels.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing support, including Operations, Global, Distribution, Sales, and Revenue Management.
  • Manage, retain, and grow Loyal Customer Base through direct channels.
  • Lead the social media team to hit and reach all KPIs (Engagement, Conversion, Brand Awareness, etc.)
  • Work and manage a local PR firm to boost awareness for the brand among our target audience.
  • Manage and brief designers, content creation and other marketing assets that will be produced for the country/region requirements (B2C and B2B), under the global Brand guidelines.
  • Own the marketing budget and hit target revenue.

What you need for the role

Attributes and skills:

  • The individual is goal oriented, creative, and innovative, with passion for marketing.
  • Strong understanding with digital marketing domains: PPC, CRM, SEO, Content Marketing, and social media
  • Highly experienced in the market in charge of overseeing; know their travel patterns, seasons, holidays, special days, trends, popular platforms and booking behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into tangible recommendations and actionable insights.
  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker, problem solver with a strong sense of details.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry - an advantage

Minimum qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 Years of experience as an online and offline marketing manager in a high pace, global goal-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing technologies and tools (E.g Google Analytics, Stripo, Braze, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in local language and English (written and verbal).
