What the role is
Drives revenue growth for the hotels by focusing on leisure sales within the wholesale, tour, and student markets. Proactively seeks out new business opportunities, sources accounts, identifies key targets, and re-engages with past leads to maximize bookings. Collaborates with tour operators, travel agents, and student group leaders to secure group accommodations and services and with wholesale partners driving FIT. Promotes hotel offerings including accommodations, food & beverage, tours & transfers, and co-working spaces to meet and exceed budget goals. Works closely with regional and national accounts to drive business from leisure-focused segments outside the local market.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are (not limited to):
• Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, contracts, customer correspondence).
• Conducts customer facing sales activities such as appointments, site visits, solicitation and re-solicitation calling, lunch and learns, social hours, company of the month activities, local industry events, Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Activities, etc
• Qualifies and maintains customer''s long-term business potential
• Understand fully the locations and country services, packages and promotions.
• Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.
• Market research to generate new leads.
• Sell packages for all locations.
• Shifts priorities as directed by supervisor or business needs.
Requirements (language,years of experience, area of experience, specific knowledge)
• 2 years of experience in sales in hospitality industry
• Excellent attention to small details
• Intermediate-advanced Excel and Powerpoint Skills and other presentations tools
• Passionate about challenges
• Customer Service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• English and local language advanced
