What the role is
Driving sales strategies to increase top line performance by expanding existing business and creating new opportunities through promotional efforts, representation at local and international fairs and other channels. Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve set targets and personal
development.

• Monitors and manages against team booking goals and makes recommendations on booking goals of direct reports.
• Works with VP Sales to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation.
• Develops and manages relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Work closely with the Revenue Leaders to identify and drive focused activities on elements of the business that require additional support
• Monitor the performance of the Groups/Reservations department regarding offers, conversion, response time
• Managing and conducting HR activities; develop the Sales team through leadership, mentoring and feedback sessions. Create employee development plans.
• Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives
• Report out the KPI''s of the department monthly to the VP Sales
• Participate in the forecasting process in conjunction with the Revenue Department to insure accurate, timely and complete information.
• Conducts customer facing sales activities such as appointments, site visits, solicitation and re-solicitation calling, lunch and learns, socialhours, company of the month activities, local industry events,Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Activities, etc
• Qualifies and maintains customer''s long-term business potential.
• Understand fully the locations and country services, packages and promotions.
• Shifts priorities as directed by VP Sales or business needs.

Requirements
(language, years of experience, area of experience, specific knowledge)
• 8+ years of experience in sales in hospitality industry
• Intermediate-advanced Excel and Powerpoint Skills and other presentations tools
• Passionate about challenges
• Strong leadership, analytical and excellent communication skills
• English and local language advanced
