Our Distribution team are currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a permanent position to be based in Brisbane, QLD.

At the Brisbane Distribution Centre, our team are facilitating best in class lead times of our product to customers across Australia.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct root cause analysis, generating effective corrective and preventative actions to ensure issues do not re-occur
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
  • Professional management of quality leading to ISO 9001 Accreditation and, Improving SPS Scores for Quality
  • Be an advocate for the region/site as well as the customer when participating in capability enablement projects or analysis of flow changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and quality
  • Analyse current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies that promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Conduct regular assessments of processes and performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Act as a change agent, promoting a mindset of innovation and adaptability among team members
  • Capable of conducting health and safety investigations, completing safety-related documentation, and assisting in compliance with safety standards.

About you

You will have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience working in a high pace warehousing role including intermediate experience using a computerized warehousing system.

Formal qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and/or Planning are considered advantageous but not a requirement.

Key skills and experience:
  • Ensuring a reduction in customer complaints and internal defects; using quality tools such as PFMEA, PCP & Auditing Tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, including overtime as needed, with the ability to be flexible when required.
  • Experience in SAP WMS will be beneficial and highly regarded
  • An eagerness to continue learning and a self-driven approach
