The Role: Warehouse Quality Engineer

Overview: The successful candidate must be familiar with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, Quality Fundamentals, Schneider Performance System (SPS), PFMEA, PCP, i2P, and Continuous Improvement Tools. The candidate must also be a team player/leader who works well with diverse groups of people. Candidate considered for this role must have the drive for results, and experience applying and adapting tools and methods to achieve performance goals.

• Lead problem-solving for customer complaints and non-conformities by applying 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma and statistical methods to identify root causes
• Lead implementation of corrective and preventive actions focusing on continuous improvement for quality and customer satisfaction
• Promote quality culture and deploy Quality Fundamentals
• Lead quality inspection guidelines using t echnical/product knowledge (inbound, in-process & outbound defects) for the Distribution Center
• Drive Quality Excellence in Logistics (from Suppliers to Customers: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, transportation, returns, etc.)
• Implement quality documentation such as PFMEA, process control plan and work instructions
• Lead continuous process improvements impacting non-quality costs and customer returns
• Lead and apply quality systems based on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 standards for both internal and external audits
• Lead QMS audit scoping, oversee the audit process, manage team interactions, define the audit program & assign tasks
• Provide organization and guidance during Audit while coaching the auditors
• Conduct interviews, tests, and data analysis to identify root causes, evaluate process efficiency, and make recommendations for compliance
• Present significant findings to both Auditees and Management Team including the final audit report
• Execute data extraction, consolidate results and propose impactful visualizations
• Conduct interviews and perform additional tests to validate working assumptions & ensure analytical reliability
• Facilitate and partner with SME's to develop training and build quality awareness using quality methodologies
• Manage Quality KPI's (LDR, IDR, SRT, DCR, Quality Fundamentals, NQC/SRT/CoPQ, CR Aging, RPN etc)
• Prepare Quality Reports based on defined cut-off
• Drive RPN Reduction with Logistics Engineering & Warehouse Team
• Lead Supplier & LDR Reviews and drive improvements
• Lead & ensure compliance to Layered Process Audits
• Manage quality-related line disruption, alerts and PRB containment actions
• Identify & capitalize on best practices in quality
• Lead key quality cards & support SPS requirements
• Participate in Customer Visits & assist in Last-Mile Delivery Audit
• Support packaging improvements, cargo securing and sustainability projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CCC, Replenishment, Line of Business, Packaging, Plants/Suppliers, Transport, Warehouse, etc) to drive improvement opportunities

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic) is required
• 5+ years' experience in Logistics/Manufacturing Quality , Logistics/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma tools, 8D Problem-Solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5 Whys, Fishbone (cause & effect), A3, DMAIC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design, Gauge R&R
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable
• Quality Auditor Certification
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
• 8D & PFMEA Certification
• Excellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to details
• Strong desire to work with people, on the warehouse floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skills
• Tableau knowledge is a plus to improve/digitize CS&Q reports
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint & other collaboration tools
