We have an exciting opportunity open in Columbia, MO for a Warehouse Manager. In this role, you will e nsure compliance with Health Safety and Environmental and quality standards, optimize workload and resources, manage logistics processes, coordinate team training and performance, implement inventory management guidelines, and analyze logistics costs.
What will you do?
- Enforce compliance with Health Safety and Environmental and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
- Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
- Optimize daily/weekly workload balance/resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities).
- Adjust MPH (material providing and handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems, (LDS, DISS, etc.).
- Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods>stocking>picking> material handling>shipping finished goods and wastes.
- Synchronize support function on short term actions.
- Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined.
- Manage warehouse processes performance and team according to Schneider Production System/SIM rules and cycle event of the plant.
- Deploy and implement Supply Chain Planning Central team guidelines for inventory management.
- Ensure inventory accuracy with permanent alignment between operations & inventory (IT data and physical situation).
- Manage yearly appraisal of all hourly employees within scope.
- Monitor and analyze logistics costs.

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, or related field is required.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and SAP proficient.
- Minimum 5 years' warehouse/logistics management experience in Logistics/Industrial field.
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
- Understanding of accounting or finance.
- Must be able to comprehend legal documents.
- Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world. Flexibility to respond to shifting priorities and ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
