Where is the Position?

This position is based in Wiehl, Germany, at the heart of central Europe, within a multicultural team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Which missions will you lead?

As a Supplier Quality Engineer , your main missions will be :

  • Develop and implement quality indicators ("dashboards") at plant level to resolve corrective actions and create corresponding reports
  • Monitoring and evaluating all supplier performance (KPIs) and creating corresponding reports (new reporting)
  • Develop action plans in collaboration with the relevant suppliers to improve their quality
  • Conducting monthly supplier performance meetings with participants from quality, purchasing, supply chain, engineering, and logistics
  • Develop and setting up indicators for suppliers to measure short-term results of agreed measures
  • Forcing agreements with suppliers, using the G8D (Global 8D) process if necessary, and conducting appropriate training for suppliers
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the measures described in the G8D report with regard to immediate, corrective and preventive measures and deadlines as well as responsibilities
  • Starting and updating the defined PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) process and ensuring that the relevant resources are provided by the relevant departments
  • Developing training documents and conducting training for internal and external employees regarding the PPAP process
  • Monitoring PPAPs and, if necessary, developing and initiating measures in the event of deviations in collaboration with the relevant departments
  • Developing rules for the incoming goods inspection and ensuring their dynamization and optimization

What are the qualifications we are looking for?

Education: Master's degree in Quality or in industrial engineering

Work experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality in industrial field (internship/apprenticeship included)

Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with structured and service-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.


Requested languages : Fluent English

  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and during busy periods.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and sociable personality.
  • Quick adaptability to new environments.
  • Motivated to drive change and contribute innovative ideas.
