Where is the Position?

This position is based in our Distribution Center (DC) in Helmond next to Eindhoven, Netherlands in Northern Europe, within a multicultural team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Which missions will you lead?

As a SERE specialist, you will participate to deploy the Environment, Occupational Health & Safety policies, directives, tools, methods and continuous improvement. Your main missions will be:

1.Health, Safety and Environment

  • Pilot some H&S issues and improvement plans, deploy H&S standards.
  • Support environmental issues: waste management, emission, Best Available Technologies, deployment of environmental standards
  • Leverage Safety data analytics (accidents; Near Misses; Safety Opportunities...) to better prevent health, safety and sustainability
  • Support on the Occupational Risk Assessment and Environmental analysis.
  • Support the design, audit, and guarantee operationally the application of H&S procedures.

2.Focus on continuous improvement
  • Make survey of the regulation evolution using EHSA (Environmental Health and Safety Assessment), evaluate the compliance of the site and propose related action plans.
  • Engage the journey toward IMS (Integrated Management System) on the standards 14001, 45001 and 50001, with support on 9001

What are the qualifications we are looking for?

Education: Master's degree on Health Safety and Sustainability

Work experience: Relevant work experience and affinity with the aspect of health, safety and sustainability within a logistics or process organization.

Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with structured and service-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and standards related to occupational health and safety.


Requested languages : Fluent English

  • Impacting communication, teambuilding skills and problem-solving skills
  • Self-reflective ability, positive attitude and open minded.
  • Quick adaptability to new environments.
