US Commercial Services Channel Sales Director

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $200,000 - $300,000 per year and commission.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-

related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What do you get to do in this position?

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven professional to join our US Services organization as the Director of the Channel Sales Organization. This team is pivotal in driving the growth of our service business with our top channel partners across all lines of business. Additionally, they are at the forefront of delivering outcome-based solutions through our partner network that highlight our consulting, digital, and recurring service offerings.

In this role, you will be accountable for delivering services growth by expanding the Services partner network, deploying Partner Programs, and growing commercial reach through and with partners across various domains, including Electrical Distributors, IT Distributors, Electrical & Mechanical Contractors, and National Service Providers. You will also develop and deliver on the OneServices Partner Commercial Strategy to unify our channels, partners, and offers where applicable.

Your ability to effectively partner with internal and external channel stakeholders will be crucial in enhancing service opportunity detection, driving order growth, and increasing penetration rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define & implement the US Services channel strategy leveraging guidelines from global Services strategy & partner programs.
  • Develop and implement partner program features to drive commercial growth, efficiency, and partner satisfaction.
  • Provide partner needs and feedback to the offer managers and marketing team to address channel-specific offer needs and evolution.
  • Analyze accounts to determine relevant partner selections and go-to-market strategies through multi-channel engagement, including end user connectivity.
  • Set orders/revenue growth targets with partners, considering product/application offer priorities.
  • Achieve annual services orders and growth targets through an aligned partner network, including sales coverage through channel sales reps.
  • Sell with and through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales teams.
  • Ensure partners' compliance with agreements and boost their digitization journey.
  • Deliver sales and technical training to partners and facilitate their badge/certification.
  • Provide commercial policy guidelines and explain processes for marketing and Services Channel sales.
  • Offer monthly forecasts and quarterly vision for business reviews.
  • Manage escalation and conflicts in the field to comply with rules of engagement set with partners.
  • Animate partners' Services portfolio and establish relationships with key personnel in partner accounts.

People Management:
  • Attract, recruit, onboard, develop, and manage a high-performing Services consulting execution team while controlling voluntary attrition.
  • Prepare the leadership pipeline by scouting and nurturing a diverse talent pool.
  • Manage team skills and behaviors to align with business needs and market evolution.
  • Drive a lean and agile organization.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

    • Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Science & Technology, Math, Marketing, Business.
      • Master of Business Administration or similar (preferred).
    • Job Qualifications:
      • 5-7 years of sales leadership experience, channel sales preferred.
      • 3 years business & channel development experience
      • 3 years experience customer & market intelligence.
      • Multi-site & partnership management.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
      • Capacity to build an agile network and promote synergies for business.
      • Understanding channel needs and positioning them in the value chain and competitive environment to grow services business with partners.
      • Ability to design, implement, enhance, and promote approaches; facilitate transfer of best practices; support knowledge flow within and across business and knowledge domains.
      • Leadership skills to lead, manage, and motivate a sales team.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with C-level customers.
      • Capabilities to influence, persuade, and convince inside/outside.
      • Matrix management and collaboration skills.
      • Ability to build sustainable and reliable relationships with certified partners and customers.
      • Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle of the product
