The Data &Performance organization of Schneider Electric creates value and efficiency by providing business leaders with high quality information to make better decisions, faster. Having well-governed and managed data will improve our customer experience and in turn grow our digital sales and core offers. With the variety, volume and velocity of data in today's world, and to prepare for its future, the Data &Performance organization provides the capabilities and platforms to eliminate data silos, perform the foundational data management activities regarding customer, product and vendor data, and transform our data culture to reinforce the behaviors required to sustain data excellence in our daily data operations across Schneider Electric.
Within the Data & Performance organization, the mission of the Strategic Program Data Governance team is to support a Global ERP Business Transformation program focused on unifying business processes and implementing SAPs S4 Hana public cloud solution. To support this transformation we have mutltiple data transformation activities across the pillars of Data Modelling, Data Quality and Cleasing, Reporting & Analytics and Setting up the right Governance in territories and geographies enabling our digital customer-centric data strategy.
To support the data transformation driven centrally we are looking for a Senior Data Project Manager to drive and co-ordinate data readiness activities across geographies focusing on Data in our legacy ERP systems.
Job purpose
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Project Manager with a strong background in SAP data management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in driving Data modling, Data cleansing, Data Risk assessment, Data Analytics and Data Migration activites across cross-functional teams in various geographies across our International Operations Zones and Countries
Duties and responsibilities
• Lead and drive data preparation activites across territories and geographies with a focus data quality and cleansing in Legacy SAP ERPs in compliance with Schneider Electric Data Golden Rules
• Track and report on progress of data readiness to migrate data based on defined KPIs for the program
• Create and maintain comprehensive Risk and Open Items register for each territory by Data Activity type
• Utilize project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery and successful completion of data preparation activities
• Identify and escalate roadblocks and risk raised by territories in cleasing activites and co-ordinate with global business process owners and mitigate gaps.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data management in SAP
• Share best practices amongst regions to accelerate data cleansing activities

• Proven experience in data project management, specifically with SAP master data management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective communicate with senior data leadership executives in terriotries.
• Demonstrated ability to drive data cleansing, data modelling, data analytics, data migration and data risk management activities and initiatives across cross-functional teams
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
• Proficiency in working with teams across different geographies
• Solid understanding of Schneider Electric Data Golden rules and data strategy.
• Knowledge SE Data Management processes across the domains of Customer, Offer, Vendor and Finance will be a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to perform data analysis using Excel, Power BI, Tabelau is preferred
• Fluency in English preferred additional European languages will be a plus
Program & project management qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Project Manager for large initiatives
- Agile experience
- Sap ERP experience , SAP Master Data Managent experience,
- Data Project management experience will be preferred
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed & culturally diverse global environment
- Minimum of 5 years as a practitioner of agile project management methodology
• Projected travel: 10%
