For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $160,800 - $241,200 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a Transactional Growth Manager to join our Federal Strategy and Business Development Team, playing a key role in expanding our transactional business with federal government customers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth, develop strategic partnerships, and enhance the sales process for our federal transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives:
    • Develop and implement strategies to grow the transactional side of the business, both direct to federal government end users and indirect through the value chain.
    • Identify and cultivate priority strategic channels for federal business development, leveraging Schneider Electric's existing channel sales teams.
    • Establish new federal-specific partners and channels, including small business program-advantaged channels, to create growth opportunities.
    • Ensure Schneider products are well-represented on government and partner contract vehicles.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential federal government sales channels.
    • Collaborate with both federal and parent company sales channel leaders to optimize federal growth.
    • Educate Schneider Electric sales teams on driving transactional demand and provide resources to help them navigate and steer demand through appropriate channels.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Schneider products are well-represented on government and partner contract vehicles.
  • Process and Infrastructure Development:
    • Design and implement scalable processes and procedures to support growth in transactional sales, ensuring sustainability over time.
    • Identify system, process, and policy improvements to enhance the customer experience and streamline transactional sales.
    • Ensure robust data tracking mechanisms are in place to monitor performance, measure growth, and provide insights for future strategies.
    • Act as direct liaison to Schneider Electric's (parent company) Made in America Task Force to increase knowledge across Schneider Federal business units of Made in America/Buy in America Federal Acquisition Regulations and advocate for priority products in the reshoring of manufacturing (U.S.C. §§ 8301-8305)

  • Increased Schneider Electric products on government contract vehicles and partner contracts.
  • Expansion and development of strategic federal-specific channels.
  • Scalable infrastructure to support long-term growth.
  • Effective tracking of sales performance and customer experience improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or channel management, preferably within the federal government or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the federal procurement process and experience with government contract vehicles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and navigate complex sales environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing growth strategies in a transactional sales environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and track performance.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%.
