Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Training Coordinator with a blend of hands-on electrical expertise, construction knowledge, and a teaching-oriented background to lead training programs for our Modular Data Center manufacturing teams across North America. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in electrical, conduit, and construction practices and excels in educating a workforce on modular data center assembly, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes, and electrical code compliance. This role will focus on building and implementing comprehensive training plans, ensuring that facility teams are skilled in reading blueprints, crimping, wiring, and adhering to Schneider Electric's quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development & Execution
• Design, develop, and implement training plans for modular data center assembly, including a hands-on approach to wiring, conduit bending, crimping, and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored training content that aligns with the Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes, ensuring that team members understand customer-specific requirements.
• Structure courses that range from entry-level to advanced, targeting both new hires and current employees needing skills updates.

2. Technical Instruction & Practical Application

• Provide practical instruction on reading engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly documentation.
• Guide employees through hands-on activities in areas like conduit installation, blueprint reading, and modular component assembly.
• Ensure employees understand critical safety practices and electrical codes specific to modular data center construction.

3. Facility-Wide Knowledge Building

• Lead the development of standardized best practices and skill assessments to maintain a high level of proficiency across North American facilities.
• Develop visual aids, documentation, and training materials that clearly communicate key skills, processes, and safety protocols.
• Implement Kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement in training and modular assembly processes.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Monitor and evaluate trainee progress to ensure that they meet or exceed quality and safety standards.
• Act as a liaison with Quality and Engineering teams to capture lessons learned and adapt training programs for improved defect prevention and product quality.
• Regularly audit training outcomes to ensure alignment with critical-to-quality (CTQ) and critical-to-process (CTP) standards.

5. Mentorship & Development

• Provide mentorship, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to trainees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill advancement.
• Support the creation of a certification program for key skills within modular data center assembly, such as wiring, conduit work, and blueprint interpretation.
• Assist with onboarding new trainers as needed, providing guidance on training delivery methods and technical knowledge transfer.

6. Coordination & Scheduling

• Coordinate and schedule training sessions across multiple shifts and locations, adapting as needed to meet facility demands.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and performance reports to track progress and ensure compliance with Schneider Electric's standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, construction, or modular assembly, with a strong preference for those with teaching or training background.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, blueprint reading, conduit work, and safety protocols. Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
Other Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and mentorship skills with a proactive and hands-on approach to training delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of modular data center assembly processes.
• Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments and customized training program development.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and continuous improvement.
