Main responsibilities:
- Strong ability to test low and medium voltage SE products including Switchgears, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker's and MCC's.
- Ability to work closely with Engineering and identify issues with electrical drawings.
- Ability to follow ITP's and perform FAT's
- Maintain Repair/Calibration database
- Job entries & maintenance of records on database including associated paperwork and time tracking
- Prepare detailed service and failure records
- Ability to meet project deadlines and strong focus on customers
Qualifications & Skills required:
- Technical college education or equivalent formal training in Electrical Engineering Technologies,
- Possess CET/CTech or Electrician's/ Journeyman designation/license
- Experience with low and medium voltage equipment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment
- Sound theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience on electrical testing including ability to use High Pot test Set, Current Injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, Corona test Set
- Validating/correcting existing technical documents including test procedures
- Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision, technical information, and documentation.
- Possess strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics.
- Computer proficient
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills (written and oral) to convey technical findings/issues/topics to corresponding parties.
- Strong organizational skills
