The PreFab Modular Data Center Systems have been driving a tremendous growth to the segment during the last years. The PreFab Data Center Systems Line of Business integrates Schneider products into modular enclosures, test the systems in the factory and deliver the final solution to the country of destination.

You will be part of the Europe and South America tendering team supporting both regions. During the internship, you will support the team on projects of simple to medium technical complexity. As part of the team of the project, you will prepare the technical and commercial proposal and be part of a cross functional team (solution architect, tender manager, technical leader, procurement, supply Chain, SMEs, etc.)

What will you learn?
  • Support to prepare bids for simple to medium technical complexity: design, quoting and project set-up
  • Analyses simple RFQs (Request For Quotation)
  • Prepare costing as per standard processes and tools
  • Performs simple risk analysis
  • Prepare and submit bid documentation
  • Support the technical team to design a Modular Data Center solution
    • Analyse customer requirements to define the data center system (electrical, cooling, fire and monitoring system)
    • Configure and select electrical and cooling equipment from Schneider Electric portfolio
    • Define solution Bill of Materials
    • Prepare electrical diagrams and 2D/3D designs
  • Perform reliable and efficient communication to main stakeholders: Factory team, Tender Manager, Solution Architect, SME, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement
  • Support in planning the project in conjunction with the supply chain (MS Project)
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase efficiency


Are you who we are looking for?
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical or Energy Engineering preferrable
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Influence and convince skills
  • Foster cooperation and people motivation in a multi-cultural environment and different time zone
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer tools at user level: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, AutoCAD 2D, 3D software
  • Some knowledge on Autodesk REVIT, Autodesk Construction Cloud could be valuable
