SUMMARY

  • This position is for Tender Manager, part of a team of project execution providing tender package for electrical equipment & systems such as MV & LV switchgear, transformer, busway and substation automation.
  • This person is responsible for the quality of solution offers and compliance to standards and achieves highest customer satisfaction.
  • This person should show initiative in animating the tender from early stage of bid preparation, customer negotiation until handover to project manager. He also should have the ability to conduct effective communication from middle to senior level internal management.

This position works with the following key internal parties:
  • Sales Account Managers
  • Business Heads
  • Project Managers
  • Finance Business Partners
  • Key Functional Leaders (i.e. Logistics Manager, SRM, Service Manager)


PRIMARY ROLE
  • Liaising with opportunity leaders and account managers to understand the opportunity requirement/scope/needs for tender and properly identify equivalent Schneider solution offer.
  • Ensure RFQ compliance to internal policy and process requirements.
  • Coordinate with different factories for proper equipment/solution offering.
  • Perform detailed cost analysis based on target price and/or bid competitiveness and value proposition.
  • Secure tender approval issue approved tender to opportunity leader within SLA.
  • Manage bid clarifications and coordinate with different SME to ensure closing of clarification points on time.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • At least 7 years in a relevant tendering capacity dealing with different equipment manufactured in accordance with international standards.
  • Strong background and experience in the construction industry in the areas of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Strong communication, business management and consulting engagement skills
  • Team player, who can work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong engineering skills
  • Independent and self-driven and work with minimum guidance


EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Electrical Engineering)


TRAVEL
  • This position will be based in Seoul, South Korea and travel within and outside South Korea is expected as the need arises.
